Export Stash vs. Ecwid's built-in export

Export Stash is a BigCommerce app that bulk-imports products from CSV and automatically exports your store data — orders, products, inventory, customers and product reviews — plus Google Shopping, Meta, TikTok and Pinterest product feeds. It creates products and variants from a spreadsheet delivered by upload, FTP, Google Sheets or URL, and delivers CSV, XLSX or TXT exports to Google Sheets, FTP servers or email on a schedule you control. Export Stash also works with Wix and Ecwid stores.

On Ecwid, Export Stash is an export app: it exports products, orders and customers. Product import is not available for Ecwid stores. Ecwid also ships its own CSV export — this page compares the two so you can decide whether you need an app at all.

When is Ecwid's built-in export all you need?

If you export occasionally, are on a paid Ecwid plan, and a CSV downloaded in the browser is fine as the destination, the built-in export costs nothing extra and lives right in your Ecwid admin, with column selection included.

When does Export Stash make sense on Ecwid?

Export Stash fits when you need recurring, hands-off exports — orders to a bookkeeper's inbox every Monday, a live Google Sheet your team watches, or a product file dropped on an FTP server for another system — in CSV, XLSX or TXT with exactly the fields you choose, delivered to several destinations at once without anyone logging in to run it.
