Export Stash — Frequently Asked Questions

Export Stash is a BigCommerce app that bulk-imports products from CSV and automatically exports your store data — orders, products, inventory, customers and product reviews — plus Google Shopping, Meta, TikTok and Pinterest product feeds. It creates products and variants from a spreadsheet delivered by upload, FTP, Google Sheets or URL, and delivers CSV, XLSX or TXT exports to Google Sheets, FTP servers or email on a schedule you control. Export Stash also works with Wix and Ecwid stores.

How do I import products into BigCommerce from a CSV?

Install Export Stash, upload your spreadsheet, map your columns to BigCommerce product fields in a three-step wizard, and run it. Export Stash reads your real column headers and shows a live sample value from your own file next to every field, so you can see exactly what will be created before you commit. Products and their variants are created in bulk — no manual data entry, no developer, and no BigCommerce CSV template to reverse-engineer.

Where can my product import file come from?

Export Stash imports CSV files from eight sources:

Comma, semicolon, tab and pipe delimiters are detected automatically, and files that are not UTF-8 are normalised for you.

What product data can I import into BigCommerce?

Name, SKU, price and weight are always mapped, plus optional description, cost price, retail price, sale price, MAP price, width, depth, height, fixed shipping cost, inventory level, UPC, GTIN, MPN, warranty, bin picking number, availability, pre-order message and release date, product tax code, images and your own custom fields.

Variants are supported with up to three options — Colour, Size and Material, for example — grouped into one product by a key column you choose. Product name, description and images can each be built from several columns at once.

That list is the BigCommerce catalogue; Wix imports map a smaller set of fields, listed below.

Can I import products into Wix?

Yes. Wix stores import from CSV through the same three-step wizard, on both the V1 and V3 Wix catalogs. A Wix import maps name, SKU, price, description, brand, ribbon, visibility, weight, stock quantity and images.

Variants are supported with up to three options grouped into one product by a key column, and name, description and images can each be built from several columns. Undo, five-product test runs, scheduling and the per-run CSV reports work exactly as they do on BigCommerce. UPC, GTIN, MPN, MAP price, product tax code, variant images and custom fields are BigCommerce-only.

Can I undo a product import?

Yes. One click undoes an entire import, deleting every product that run created and returning your credits. You can also run a test import of five products first to check your mapping, watch live progress with a real row count, cancel mid-run, and download two CSV reports per run — the products that imported, and the products that failed with the reason for each.

How do I export products, orders or product data feeds from BigCommerce?

Install Export Stash from the BigCommerce App Marketplace, then use the dashboard to export products, orders, inventory and Google Shopping, Meta, TikTok or Pinterest feeds in CSV, XLSX or TXT format to destinations such as email, FTP or a Google Sheet. You can run the export once or set it on a recurring schedule.

Can I automate BigCommerce imports and exports on a schedule?

Yes. Export Stash lets you set a schedule so your export runs automatically — daily, on weekends, or on specific days you choose. The file is generated and delivered to your destination without any manual work. Product imports can be scheduled too, hourly or daily.

What data and product feeds can Export Stash export?

Export Stash can export the following from your store:

Which file formats and destinations does Export Stash support?

Export Stash generates CSV, XLSX and TXT files and can deliver them to multiple email addresses, upload them to FTP, SFTP, FTPS or WebDAV servers, or write them directly into a live Google Sheet. You can send a single export to several destinations at once. Product import reads CSV files.

Can I choose which fields to export?

Yes. You can customize any export to include exactly the fields you need — for example only SKU, price and inventory level — for both orders and products.

How much does Export Stash cost?

Export Stash is free for 14 days with no credit card required. After the trial, export plans are priced by catalog size; current pricing is shown in the app.

Product imports are pay-as-you-go and separate from your export plan:

Which ecommerce platforms does Export Stash support?

Export Stash exports from BigCommerce, Wix and Ecwid stores. Product import is available for BigCommerce and Wix stores; Ecwid is export-only.
