How do I upload tracking numbers to BigCommerce in bulk?

In Export Stash, open Bulk Shipments, create a profile, map the Order ID, SKU and Tracking Number columns from your file, pick the courier, then run a dry run before the real run creates the shipments in BigCommerce.

What you need

Steps

  1. Open Bulk Shipments and create a profile.
  2. Choose where the file is: upload a CSV, or connect to FTP, FTPS or SFTP.
  3. Map the Order ID and SKU columns, plus Tracking Number. Quantity is optional.
  4. Pick the courier for the profile. It applies to every shipment the profile creates.
  5. Optional: add filters to ship only some rows.
  6. Save, then run a dry run. It reports what would ship without creating any shipments.
  7. Run the profile to create the shipments in BigCommerce.

FAQ

Can I ship part of an order with a tracking file?

Yes. Set the quantity on each row. The rest of the line stays open, so a later file can ship it.

What happens to rows that don't match an order?

They are skipped and listed with a reason, such as SKU not on this order, already fully shipped, or tracking number already on this order.

Does it work with every courier?

You pick one courier per profile from the list in Export Stash. Use a separate profile for each courier you ship with.
